Days 353-363 (18-28 Dec 2012) Catch Up Post, and GOOD NEWS!!

These past several days have been crazy, busy, and awesome!  I have not had a chance to post, but I have taken photos every day (even if just with my iPhone), so I am still on track for this project!!!

Below are some of the photos, the most important/best ones of these several days.  Some have not been processed yet, and others (such as the iPhone snapshots) are not worth posting here.  Starting next year, I will move my blog to another WordPress address; I have a few reserved, but will let you know the new address to subscribe to.  I will not be doing another 365 project, but I will still be making photos all the time, and posting.  My goal is to have a site (WordPress or other) where I can post not only a blog, but also galleries to show off my best work.  I will also be buying a domain name (or two) and professional hosting.

Please take a moment and view below what is my absolute favorite photo of all time!!

Day 176 (24 June 2012) Coffee

Today just before leaving the camp I was at I noticed this old crate and knew I just had to shoot it.  I don’t know why it was there, or for how long, but it intrigued me.  So I took a few minutes to shoot it before leaving.

Day 74 (14 March 2012) The Birds and the Beans

I know today is Π (Pi) Day and I should have pulled something witty out of my bag, like baking a pie, or making the symbol with 3.14 grains of rice and shooting macro, but not today!

I had placed a stale piece of bread on my deck hoping to attract some birds, and it worked!  I set up my camera with my 200mm zoom and pre-set the settings and shot away as a couple of birds ate.  I also dropped a coffee bean this morning while doing the daily grind, and being inspired by Pablo’s Day 100 post, I figured I would try shooting it with my macro filter.

Day 66 (6 March 2012) Hunger

Today I wanted to experiment with my close-up lenses some more.  And I wanted to eat pie.  So, why not do both?  I also tried shooting the coffee grounds still in the coffee maker and the aluminium foil that was covering the pie.  Sad thing is that writing about it makes me want to get another piece!  I think  you’ll want one, too!
