Day 250 (7 Sep 2012) Hebron Harvest Festival

Last night a friend and I attended the Hebron Harvest Festival, primarily because I wanted to make images of the rides at night 🙂  Like I did here.

On the bumper cars, I know realize that I should have popped a second-curtian flash; I can see how it would have added a bit more definition to the ride, but still preserve the motion.  It was challenging to get any shots I wanted with the ferris wheel; it took so long to reload that it was only running about 60 sec out of each 5 min.  A smaller one would have done better, at least for me 😉

Day 189 Part II – Sail Fest 2012

Here are some more photos I took yesterday, but didn’t get a chance to look at/process/post.  If you missed my fireworks photos from yesterday, you should check them out!  If you’ve never shot fireworks and want a quick tutorial, I can post one, or you can google one of the dozens that are out there, just let me know 🙂

Day 151 (30 May 2012) The Carnival

The Carnival is in town for the rest of the week and the weekend, so I couldn’t resist the urge to try and shoot some long exposure frames of the rides.  I’m lucky I didn’t show any later, cause I got the last few cycles of the night (I’ll go back, but earlier, lol).  But I did capture these three that I like.  Had I more time, I might have purchased some ride tickets 🙂
